REINE DE NAPLES 8918

Breguet

An absolute emblem of women's watchmaking, the Reine de Naples collection draws its inspiration from the first wristwatch in history, created in 1812 for Napoleon's sister, Caroline Murat, Queen of Naples.

The variety of models, ranging from the casual refinement of “Princess” watches to the elegance of diamond-paved pieces, allows us to meet all the requests of our customers in a perfectly inimitable style.

The enamel is composed of a mixture of silica and oxides allowing a wide range of colors to be obtained. It is placed on the dial and the whole thing is put in the oven at a very high temperature. On contact with heat, the enamel ignites and melts to create the first layer. The operation is repeated the number of times necessary to obtain the desired shade. Today, there are only a handful of Swiss artisans capable of mastering this know-how. The secret signature, also made in enamel, appears between the center and 3 o'clock.

OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:

  • The Breguet Arabic numerals on the dial are highlighted with a white & black color (decal).
  • A 0.08 ct pear-shaped diamond is set at 6 o’clock
  • Bezel and flange set with 117 diamonds (~0.876ct). Crown set with a diamond (~0.28ct).
  • Triple blade folding clasp polished in rose gold and set with 28 diamonds (~0.164ct).
