Jewellery brand Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen was founded in Denmark in 1963. It has since grown into an international, multigenerational company, beloved worldwide by those who appreciate the beauty of fine jewellery. Founder Ole Lynggaard heads the company, while his daughter Charlotte serves as Creative Director. Now, the house is excited to introduce a new designer – a third-generation Lynggaard.
FIRST COLLECTION OF SOFIA LYNGGAARD NORMANN
New twist on shared design language
Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen is excited to present the very first collection of Sofia Lynggaard Normann, granddaughter of the brand’s founder. ‘Under the Sea’ and ‘Young Fish’ together make up the designer’s very first collection and will be launched in early April 2024.
The bracelets, earrings, and rings of the oceanic collection have a timeless appeal. Every piece has been crafted from 18 karat yellow gold and diamonds, with hints of diamonds, pearls, and precious gemstones.
Sofia’s collection is creative, innovative, and meticulously crafted. Her designs complement Ole and Charlotte Lynggaard’s earlier ones: the family members share a language, but each express themselves in their own, unique way.
“Sharing this journey with my grandfather and my mother means a lot to me.”

OCEANIC DESIGNS WITH WAVY LINES
Collection inspired by diving Down Under
When Sofia Lynggaard Normann went diving in Australia, she was enthralled by what she encountered below the surface. Silver-flitting fish, gently swaying seaweed, the slow motions of the currents, shapes in the sand.
Each time she dove down, she discovered something new. That is why Sofia decided to capture this maritime magic and turn it into a jewellery collection. Five years later, the result is ready.
The first part of the collection, ‘Under the Sea’, is marked by light and elegantly waving, infinite silhouettes. ‘Young Fish’ is more playful: the ocean’s capricious motifs have been immortalised in gold. With this collection, Sofia wants to remind us to live in the moment – like a diver hearing their own breathing in the big blue. Nature’s uniqueness is everywhere: it is up to us to appreciate its beauty.
